As a student at Salmon River High School he played four years of varsity hockey. In his junior and senior year, he led Section X in scoring and won the league MVP Award. Craig went on to play for Clarkson University in 1986 and then went on to play for the Brockville Braves Junior 'A' team. From there, Craig played three years at Salem State, during which time he graduated Summa Gum Laude with a Bachelors of Science Degree. Craig then cctntinued his education and received his Doctorate in Osteopathic Medicine from the University of Osteopathic Medicince and Health Science in Des Moine, Iowa. Since graduation from medical school Craig has worked as a local Internal Medicine Physician. He returned to the area in 1999 and has worked as a physician with Alice Hyde Medical Center. He has acted as the Department of Medicine chair for eight years, and has been the VP of the Medical staff for several years. Craig is an active member of the American Medical Association, and is Board Certified in Internal Medicine. Craig is enthusiastic to act as the team physician for the Junior 'A' Gamblers Hockey Team.
